IAIC Africa Representative Meets the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Ghana
The meeting served as an introductory engagement between the International Association of Integrative Cooperation (IAIC) in Africa and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Ghana, addressing topics such as business support initiatives for the continent proposed by the Russian government.
On February 26, 2025, Dr. Raymond Kojo Agbadi, the African representative of the International Association of Integrative Cooperation (IAIC), held a diplomatic meeting with His Excellency S.L. Berdnikov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Ghana. The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the Association and Ghanaian entities, with a focus on advancing economic partnerships, expanding trade relations, and fostering investment opportunities. Additionally, both parties explored other areas of mutual interest to businesses in Russia and Ghana, aiming to deepen collaboration across sectors.
During the talks, Ambassador Berdnikov reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to supporting the Association and its stakeholders in facilitating joint initiatives with Ghanaian companies. He emphasized his readiness to provide diplomatic and logistical assistance to ensure the successful implementation of these projects.
The Association also took the opportunity to extend formal congratulations to the Russian government and its citizens on the occasion of the Defender of the Motherland Day, a national holiday celebrated annually on February 23 to honor military personnel and veterans. This gesture underscored the Association’s appreciation for the longstanding diplomatic ties and shared values between the two nations.
The meeting concluded on a constructive note, reflecting both sides’ shared vision for enhanced economic engagement and sustained dialogue to address common goals.
