Ptesident Mahama has held his first cabinet meeting with his ministers touching on priority areas such as national security and the roll out of the 24-hour economy

Mahama meets with his cabinet ministers for the first time

President Mahama held a meeting with his 19-member cabinet ministers and other invited ministers for the first time after his inuagration.

Among matters of concern were the national security and the 24-hr economy which has been a key campaign promise during his campaign periods.

Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, government spokeperson emphasized the importance of the two key policies of the Mahama administration stating that the previous administration has ruined the fortunes of the natuin and that with thw 24-hr economy coming into force, national security issues need to be checked to allow free flow of movement and goods.

According to Ghanaweb, the meeting was well attended and most priority areas of government such as energy, health, transport, agriculture among others were discussed.
